Every now and then these little puff balls are found in the yard. Does anyone know what they are? I thought for a while they were seed balls dropped off the sweetgum tree, but the sweetgum balls are spiked... hmmm

are they coming off a tree?? looks almost like a mushroom spores ball????

ReplyDeleteJerry says it is coming from one of the trees in the front yard...have no idea which one. He says he sees them all the time when he mows...
That was the first thing that I thought too.. they do look like mushroom spore balls and they even have a tiny hole in them.. just don't know..
