We had an unexpected visitor to the bird bath yesterday. This picture is very bad (it's the only one I could get!), but if you look closely you will see what looks like a small curved limb touching the fence in the center of the picture. That is a chicken hawk flying away! He made two trips to the bird bath, calmly sitting on the edge and sipping the water. As we moved around the porch, he just sat there looking at us... that is until I got the camera!
